Facebook to Speak at SMSS Chicago this April

The Global Strategic Management Institute (GSMI) is excited to announce that Facebook will be joining the speaker lineup at the Social Media Strategies Summit, Chicago this April 23 and 24th at the Hard Rock Hotel.

Now in its fourth year with successful events throughout the US and in the UK, SMSS aims to educate social media professionals on emerging strategies, the latest social tools, and insights from successful social media marketing campaigns.

Jonathan Stringfield, Manager, Measurement Solutions at Facebook will be speaking on “Measurement in the Connected World: A Case Study of Facebook.” Based out of Chicago, Jonathan’s work at Facebook includes constructing empirically rigorous solutions for tying online interactions with real-world outcomes.  At SMSS Chicago this April, he will discuss how to effectively measure critical business impacts on Facebook.

Ms. Mignanelli serves as Senior Vice President of People and General Counsel. Ms. Mignanelli also created the Governance, Risk Management and Compliance summit in 2009 and more recently the HR Compliance and Social Recruiting Strategies Conferences. Prior to joining GSMI, Ms. Mignanelli was the managing associate at Boyd Contreras LLP. Her practice focused primarily on civil litigation involving business disputes. Ms. Mignanelli's litigation experience includes business litigation, partnership and contract disputes, personal injury, labor and employment law, trade secrets misappropriation, and legal malpractice. She also maintains a solo practice offering transactional legal services including estate planning, probate, family law and corporate formation. Before practicing law, Ms. Mignanelli was Director of the Social Policy Center at the Performance Institute where she managed conference production staff and successfully executed over 30 conference and training events, accounting for the largest profit generating center of the company.
