It’s hard to imagine anyone not thinking William Shatner is one cool dude, but if you need convincing check out what the original Captain Kirk did for his millionth Twitter follower – took him out to dinner.
South Carolina fan Troy Pound and his wife went out to dinner with Shatner last Tuesday (April 17) after the cult icon said he would take his millionth follower out.
The 81-year-old actor is an avid Tweeter and regularly uses the site to interact with his fans.
I know I can’t stop posting about Pinterest, but this site is one of the hottest things out there. Case in point: A recent TechCrunch article reports that comScore estimates the site gets 10 million monthly unique users and is rumored to be worth upwards of one billion dollars.
However, Pinterest’s users on Facebook aren’t so, well, active. Users have dropped from 12.2 million users a month to around 8.3 million and daily users are down from 1.1 million on March 22 to approximately 930,000.
There’s a new app to help you get your photos organized called Twizgrid, developed by AJP Apps This “virtual window to the world” helps Twitter users browse photos and media content on the social networking site.
This tool allows users to search using keywords and look through albums of Twitter content. “For users who choose to log in, Twizgrid offers many additional functions of a Twitter client, allowing you to upload photos, tweet, re-tweet, follow, favorite and more,” their site explains. “Best of all Twizgrid is completely free, so download, share, use and enjoy!”
AJP Apps also has an app called MePlusMy in the works which will be a “contest oriented, photo sharing app, with vastly diminished potential for content infringement when compared to others photo apps.”
