HOLIDAYTOWN APP HERE JUST IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Zynga’s newest game, CityVille Holidaytown, is here just in time for – yep – the holiday season.

This festive offering is available on the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch.

“Being Santa’s little helper just took on a new meaning – imagine the power to actually save Christmas!” It says on Zynga’s blog. “Welcome to CityVille Holidaytown, a new game that gives you the power to help save Christmas by building homes and workshops for the North Pole elves to get them back on track in time for the giving season.”

It continues: “Decorate your town with gingerbread houses, Christmas trees, sleds, snow globes, toy shops, and packages wrapped with bows.  CityVille Holidaytown is part of the growing CityVille brand and is Zynga Mobile’s first Christmas-themed App that gets even the Scrooges in the mood to give, share and connect with their friends during the busy holiday season – anytime and anywhere they want to play.  Don’t be a Grinch and download CityVille Holidaytown and help those elves get back to work!”

CASTLEVILLE DEBUTS WITH IMPRESSIVE NUMBERS

Zynga’s newest game, CastleVille, has more than five million active users in under a week, according to a Mashable report.

The game, which allows players to be princesses, pirates, and other fantasy characters, is all about building your dream castle.

“Once immersed in the beautiful, medieval world that is CastleVille, players will find an engaging storyline, touch of fantasy, playful and memorable characters, and to round it out, a completely new reputation system to unlock new actions,” Zynga said on their official blog. “And the story doesn’t end there, players choose their own path in the game by meeting new and different characters, tending to their every wish and command (we at Zynga like to call those quests) and exploring mysterious areas.”

Are you already playing CastleVille? What do you think about it?
