Liz Kennedy is Director of Content Strategy and Social Media for FreshDirect, an online grocer. While at FreshDirect, Kennedy has positioned the company to be a part of the cultural food conversation– growing Instagram 7,000 percent, re-launching the blog, and producing videos with celebrity chefs. Prior to coming to FreshDirect, she was Social Media Manager for iVillage/NBC Universal, where she created their first-ever Facebook ad campaign. Kennedy also worked at Martha Stewart, launching the company’s Pinterest account. She began her career at Reader’s Digest, introducing online video and social media to the brand. Kennedy holds a Masters of Media Studies and Film from The New School and graduated Cum Laude from Hamilton College. She resides in New York City with her husband, James, and their son, Clark.
