Christine Alexis is the Social Media Manager, Region Americas at DB Schenker, one of the world’s largest logistics companies. Responsible for overseeing the social media content for ten countries in three different languages, Christine is a self-proclaimed “social media nerd.” A New Orleans native and graduate from Loyola University New Orleans (BBA) and the University of Miami (MBA) respectively, Christine enjoys using marketing as a tool to educate and promote other cultures. In her spare time, Christine enjoys working on her lifestyle brand Culturist + Co., running along Biscayne Bay, and spending time with her friends and family.

Multilingual social media is an ever-growing area that allows companies to connect with the consumer in their native tongue — resulting in a deeper, more authentic relationship. Throughout my career, multilingual social media saved my limited budget, substantially reduced the cost of follower acquisition, and most importantly — allowed the companies I worked for to develop more meaningful relationships with their consumers.
