As the Digital Innovation Lead for the Weber Shandwick Central region, Obele helps architect digitally-centric solutions, while overseeing a bench of specialized and diverse digital talents. A 2015 recipient of PRWeek’s Innovation 50 Award and a 2016 PRWeek 40 Under 40 honoree, Obele has led national and global marketing initiatives with Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies for brands like TracFone Wireless, United Airlines, Cars.com and Mattel Brands. Additionally, Obele was also responsible for the 2007 launch of the website for The Week Magazine – orchestrating the strategy that led to the site reaching 1.2 million unique visitors within the first year of launch. Obele also is a member of and judge for the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences – home of the Webby and Lovie Awards.
