Bronlea Mishler, M.Ed., is the founder and owner of Bronlea M Consulting, LLC. She brings over a decade of experience as a government communications director and social media manager to the consulting world. Her consulting work focuses on helping local governments improve their public relations practices and products.

Bronlea is a FEMA-certified instructor. She teaches for FEMA’s Emergency Management Institute, the National Disaster Preparedness Training Center, and Argonne National Laboratory’s Decision and Infrastructure Sciences division. Bronlea assists with curriculum development and revision for public information, crisis communications, and social media courses. Bronlea has supported and led public information and crisis communications teams for large-scale emergencies at the state and local levels in Washington State.

Creating meaningful, engaging social content is both an art and a science. But how do you succeed when you have zero time and budget? In this 3-hour workshop, you'll have a chance to slow down and think strategically. Participants will learn about low-cost (or free) content creation tools, discuss ways to understand their audience and manage expectations, and discuss methods for developing and measuring engaging content. Participants will leave with practical strategies they can immediately implement at their agencies.
