Glorymar Rivera-Diaz leads the National Science Foundation’s social media planning and outreach efforts, enforces social media policies, and ensures daily content and planning meet NSF’s strategic goals. Her responsibilities include developing social media strategies and metrics, evaluating existing and potential new platforms, staying current with social media trends, analyzing target audiences, and suggesting and implementing new ways to engage NSF’s audiences.

Before coming to NSF, Glorymar worked at Research!America, an Alexandria, Virginia nonprofit that advocates for strong funding and policies supporting medical, health, and scientific research advancement. At Research!America, she managed the organization’s social media efforts and website, among many other tasks. She holds a master’s degree in public relations and corporate communications from Georgetown University.
