Angela Ramirez is a passionate government social media professional. As a Communications Strategist at the City of Tampa, her primary responsibilities include managing the City’s social media profiles and leveraging digital tools to tell Tampa’s story. Angela proudly helped grow the @cityoftampa Instagram account from less than 1k followers to over 100k in 5 years. She is committed to helping fellow government communicators leverage the latest digital trends to engage their communities online. Her work in government social media has been featured by national outlets, including CNN Politics and Smart Cities Drive, and she is a regular contributor to the Government Social Media blog. 

In addition to being Tampa’s biggest fan, Angie enjoys traveling, photography, reading, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
