Danielle is an accomplished communications specialist who has worked in marketing, advertising, and public relations for over 10 years. She began her career in the private sector, working in the Atlantic City casino market with the production company “Pena Productions.” Her career grew when she was promoted to Senior Producer and began traveling nationally to open new entertainment venues and develop dynamic, strategic marketing campaigns.

In 2018, Danielle knew it was time to leave the casino industry and venture into something different. She returned to university to finish her bachelor's in Business Administration and, upon completion of her degree, was hired at the New Jersey Department of Transportation, where she currently works as the Social Media Manager in the Office of Communications. Danielle manages NJDOT’s social media platforms and plays a key role in the Commissioner’s “Commitment to Communities” initiative by organizing creative brainstorming sessions and writing the bi-monthly Newsletter, distributed to over 7,000 NJ stakeholders.

Danielle credits her work ethic to her first boss, Linda L’Erario, who demonstrated hard work, creativity, and passion as a successful mom-and-pop ice cream parlor owner.
