Kim Landriault
Chief Social MediaParks Canada
Since joining Parks Canada in 2016, I've had the privilege of shaping our social media presence across platforms, creating spaces that connect people to the breathtaking beauty and rich heritage of Canada's national historic sites, parks, and marine conservation areas. One of my proudest milestones has been leading our Instagram account to become the most popular among all Government of Canada platforms, celebrated for its engaging content. With a small but dedicated team, we’ve worked tirelessly to inspire Canadians and global visitors alike, promoting conservation, heritage, education, and unforgettable experiences in Parks Canada’s locations.
What I love most about managing social media at Parks Canada is the creative freedom it offers to craft fresh, engaging content that highlights the diverse facets of the agency. It’s a rare and exciting outlet for creativity within the government space, where thinking outside the box can sometimes be a challenge. Every day, I have the opportunity to tell stories from new perspectives and connect with audiences who share a deep passion for nature, history, and conservation. This dynamic storytelling is what makes the work so fulfilling and impactful.
