Margaret brings over 30 years of executive communications experience in journalism, public affairs, stakeholder outreach, and capacity building in local, national, and international affairs for private, industry, non-profit, military, and government sectors in her current role as the acting chief of the Communications and Privacy Engagements Branch of the Office of Information Security at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. She develops and implements communications strategies and initiatives and produces information and educational materials through a mix of multi-media approaches for targeted audiences. She advises cyber and executive leadership, writes speeches, and manages the department's cyber awards program. She's an alumnus of Fordham and American Universities and a staunch advocate for veterans, autism, healthcare, and environmental and heritage conservation.
