As the Public Information Officer for the Town of Collierville since 2019, Jennifer Preston has  years of experience managing strategic communications and public relations. She has been instrumental in coordinating messaging with the Mayor and Board, residents, and media by leveraging her expertise in digital media, branding, and crisis communication. Jennifer spearheaded the launch of the town's website, colliervilletn.gov, and led the creation of its first logo and branding strategy, ensuring cohesive and impactful storytelling.

Jennifer’s contributions extend to navigating high-stakes scenarios, including emergency communications during a ransomware attack and a mass shooting. Previously, as the Digital Media Specialist, she played a pivotal role in expanding Collierville's social media presence by 70% and producing award-worthy, national campaigns, such as "America's Best Main Street" with PARADE Magazine. A collaborative and detail-oriented communicator, Jennifer is committed to fostering transparency and engagement through innovative content and strategic planning.
 
She was named a Top Forty under Forty by the Memphis Business Journal and a Top Government Influencer by Engaging Local Government Leaders (ELGL). She is a graduate of Leadership Collierville, where she serves on the Board of Directors and is the President-Elect for 2026.
