Andrew Palczewski has served as the social media team lead at the U.S. Department of Education since May 2021, creating digital content for the Department's primary social media channels around issues including broad-based loan forgiveness, Public Service Loan Forgiveness, and the Secretary's priorities & initiatives. Prior to arriving at ED, Andrew worked on the social media engagement team at The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, helping to provide critical information to the public during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. He began his career in the federal government as a social media manager, digital producer, and on-air reporter at the Voice of America.
