Frances La Rue is the Communications Manager for the City of Anna, Texas. As a 1-person shop, she is responsible for implementing the strategic integrated communications plan for the city. From graphic design and video production to copywriting, social media management, and PIO, she wears many hats. Before Anna, Frances worked in municipal communications for McKinney, TX, and Corona, CA.

Frances received a master's degree in Strategic Communication & Innovation and a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Digital & Social Media from Texas Tech University. She received her bachelor's degree in Marketing and a master's degree in Organizational Leadership from California Baptist University.

Frances spends her free time with her husband and two young children, reading and road-tripping.
