Turning Internal Social Media Policy into an Engaging Connection with Your Staff

Your employees’ voices are powerful. From a recruitment standpoint alone, the best people to share what it means to work for your organization are the staff members working there now. But they could be stifling their voices due to misconceptions about what is allowed as a government employee.

Unleash those advocates! Our speaker will walk through the ways in which she has raised awareness among NIST staff of the do’s and don’ts for using social media appropriately as a federal employee. This session speaks to the positive side of internal social media policy and staff engagement.

 You’ll learn how to:

  • Dispel myths about social media use
  • Become a policy-based resource for your staff
  • Build an engaged network for your agency’s efforts
