Setting KPIs and measuring the performance of your social media programs

This training will take a dive into aligning your social, digital and business goals with KPIs that will help empower you to increase engagement, improve performance and show the value of your work on social. We’ll look at how to approach establishing platform specific KPIs, evolving them over time, creating a strategy around achieving them and how to combine them to show value from the top to the bottom of your organization. You are doing great work, now let’s find a way to let that work speak for itself!


Understanding Your KPIs: We’ll take a step back looking at your organizational goals and understanding how your engagement, performance and value based goals ladder up to them across your various platforms.

Showing Your Value: We’ll take a look at the audience for your KPIs and show you different techniques for translating them throughout different levels of your organization from your social team to your board of trustees.

Setting Achievable Goals: We will take your organic and paid social KPIs and creating a plan to achieve them.

Are trainings included in my general summit access pass?
No, access to these trainings is not included in your purchase of a Social Media Strategies Summit general summit pass. If you want to attend the trainings, you’ll need to purchase a dedicated ticket to that training.

How many people attend trainings?
We limit seating to 40 to make sure the training leader has time to work one-on-one with attendees. Reserve your seat as soon as possible - they fill up quickly!

Can I attend multiple trainings?
Yes! There are both 8am and 10:15am trainings - you can register for 1 training, or sign up for 2 at a discount.

Attendees are required to sign up for their training in advance so that training presenters can know exactly who they’ll be teaching to - and tailor content especially for you! Resources and presentation slides for each training will be available post-conference
