Charlotte Scaddan

Charlotte Scaddan is senior social media strategist at the United Nations on the team managing the UN's flagship accounts in nine languages, with 30 million followers. She leads major global campaigns on social and provides social media guidance to senior officials across the UN System, including Secretary-General António Guterres. Charlotte also initiated and spearheaded the UN’s annual social media activities for world leaders during the General Assembly high-level week and has interviewed numerous global influencers live on Facebook.  

Before becoming a social media devotee, Charlotte held various strategic communications roles at the UN in New York. She also spent several years in Caracas, Venezuela, where she worked in the human rights field.
