Aliza Rosen

Digital Content Strategist
Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health

Aliza has been working in social media and community management since 2012 across a range of industries, including video games, travel, aviation, and more. Since joining Johns Hopkins University’s central communications office in 2019, Aliza has transformed the university’s brand on social media, including establishing a best-in-class Instagram content strategy that engages and celebrates the JHU community.

In addition to tailoring costumes for JHU’s mascot Jay, Aliza is best known for creating shareworthy memes and videos, including WAmP, an educational parody music video advocating face mask usage. She is also an advocate for inclusive and accessible social media practices.

In the copious free time every social media manager is famous for having, Aliza enjoys crocheting, knitting, walking her dog, rewatching Parks and Recreation for the tenth time, and tending to her growing collection of houseplants.
