Ellen Doepke

Ellen is an award-winning digital storyteller and social media strategist. As director of social media at Michigan State University, she oversees the flagship social media accounts and acts as the university’s official voice to an audience of more than a million followers worldwide.

She has over a decade of experience in higher education marketing and communications, focusing on social media, storytelling, and writing. She believes social media’s greatest power is its ability to build a community through listening and leading with empathy.
