Allie Kuenzi

Director of Social Media
UNC Charlotte

With almost a decade in social media-specific roles, Allie Kuenzi embarked on this journey during an era when social media was still finding its foothold. Through years of learning, adapting, and refining, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the online personalities of organizations in numerous industries.

As the Director of Social Media at UNC Charlotte, Allie’s responsibilities include reputation management, community engagement, crisis response support, voice and tone refinement, and brand building – all through the lens of social media. She is passionate about cultivating a consistent and recognizable brand personality while simultaneously incorporating versatile and adaptive content. Allie’s previous social roles include working for a childhood cancer non-profit and the Atlantic Coast Conference sports entity. While these are starkly different industries, one consistent remains – meaningful connections. Connections remain at the heart of why Allie continues to log on each day.

Allie earned her B.S. in Graphic Communications from Clemson University and her M.A. in Digital Communications from UNC-Chapel Hill. When she is not behind a screen, she is soaking up every moment with her 2-year-old son and already thinking about her next meal.
