Brianna Blackburn is the manager of social media strategy at Bowling Green State University (BGSU), where she leads the BGSU Social Media team, cultivating an audience of more than 350K across platforms. Following a record year of enrollment, Brianna launched one of BGSU’s most successful advertising campaigns to date, developed influencer strategies, and led BGSU to be the #1 university in the state of Ohio for percent audience growth in 2023-2024 in one of the most saturated regions for public universities in the country.
Over the last seven years of professional social media experience, Brianna has successfully scaled and coached teams to develop and execute social campaigns that have driven engagement, audience growth, increased brand awareness, and boosted sales/enrollment. With progressive growth and leadership opportunities directing social media strategy and content creation for BGSU, Brianna has served as a social media intern, specialist, strategist, and now manager of social media brand strategy.
Brianna excels in implementing social into an organization’s core brand identity and sales/enrollment initiatives through collaboration. She is also a social content creator and social media freelance consultant with a passion for helping businesses develop their brand voice, bring creative campaigns to life, and drive authentic brand love to their social media.
