Rochelle Reed

Rochelle Reed is a former Disney cast member turned non-profit marketer turned higher ed communications and social media professional. 

After 11 years away from JMU, she returned to become the university's Social Media Manager. Rochelle became a certified certified community manager in 2021 which helps her manage JMU's private and public communities.

Her background in theatre and creating magical moments helps her daily as she works with a team of students to elevate JMU stories and connect with the JMU community. She also leads a community of practice for social media at JMU and provides guidance and support to over 100 campus partners at JMU.
