April Hunt serves as the Senior Associate Director of Communications at Emory College of Arts and Sciences, where she oversees editorial and social media for the main undergraduate school at Emory University. She developed and managed the College’s social media strategy and also assisted university partners with best practices and guidance. April worked in journalism for two decades before her move to higher education. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s in public administration and is a certified Social Media Strategist from the National Institute for Social Media.
