Katia Diamante

Katia Diamante is the Social Media Manager at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she leads a team of staff and students who create engaging content for the institutional social media channels. As part of the university's strategic communications team, she creates and evolves the strategy behind the channels, aiming to inform, engage, and delight UTSA’s audiences. She also brings social media managers from across the university together, training and supporting them as they create, collaborate, and strategize their approach to their office’s social media.

Prior to her work in higher education, Katia led digital communications and marketing for Palenque Group and residential communities in San Antonio, Texas, Austin, Texas, and Norman, Oklahoma. She has a BA in English from the University of Texas at San Antonio and an MS in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University.
