Allie Cashen is the Director of Social Media at the University of Oregon, where she leads strategy, content, and engagement across institutional platforms. With more than a decade of experience in digital communications, Allie has helped shape higher education narratives through integrated campaigns, cross-functional collaboration, and data-informed storytelling. 

Prior to her current position, Allie served as the Associate Director of Digital Communications and Strategy at the UO, where she led a full-scale CRM transition, enhanced web user experience, and developed performance-driven email and social strategies for student recruitment and enrollment management. Her background in journalism and strategic communication fuels a strong belief in using systems not just for efficiency, but for elevating audience connection and institutional impact. 

Allie is passionate about operational clarity— having worked in numerous project management systems— and believes digital systems should support creativity, not stifle it. She brings a grounded, user-centered lens to platforms, processes, and cross-campus partnerships.
