Becca Kaplan is the Social Media Officer at Columbia Law School, where she leads strategy and manages the content calendar to support the institution’s communications and risk management goals. She collaborates across editorial, multimedia, and creative teams to produce social content that reflects the school's vision and goals and monitors the school’s media presence. Becca also oversees paid social campaigns, develops data-informed policies and reports, and collaborates with campus partners on events and initiatives.

Before joining Columbia Law in 2022, Becca worked in communications and programming for performing arts and wellness companies. She holds a master’s degree in Film Studies from King’s College London and a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Pennsylvania. She also taught university-level film and television seminars in Germany.
