Speaker-Led Roundtable Discussion
Speakers will discuss overcoming barriers in collaborating with staff and faculty unfamiliar with social media, including providing approachable training, clear guidelines, and easy-to-use tools that meet faculty and staff where they are. Building relationships, sharing success stories, and empowering internal champions can help foster trust and collaboration across departments. This is an "Ask Me Anything" style session; you dictate the panel's content in real time! Bring all your burning questions related to the topic and get answers from unique perspectives.
Midwestern University is in an especially precarious position as the enrollment cliff looms, a topic of constant conversation in higher education circles. As a university specializing in healthcare education, the funnel of prospective students is narrower than most traditional undergrad institutions. In an attempt to shed its "best kept secret" in healthcare education moniker, in 2024, Midwestern University partnered with The College Tour to appear in Season 12 of the Amazon Prime hit series. Our objective in partnering with The College Tour series was to reach new audiences, increase awareness of our campuses and programs, and grow interest among prospective students and their parents.
Discover how Midwestern University's innovative social media and content marketing strategies generated excitement and anticipation for its feature on season 12 of Amazon Prime's "The College Tour." By employing a combination of offline and online strategies, the university created over 100 pieces of social media content, resulting in over 100,000 organic impressions and 8,000 engagement actions before its season 12-episode debut.
