As BYU’s director of online communications, Joe bounces between web development, analytics, information architecture and social media. Say hi if you see him and don’t miss the magnificence of his two-toned left eye. Joe joined BYU’s University Communications in 2007 to publicize the school’s academic accomplishments in national news outlets. Soon after, a visit by Mark Zuckerberg to BYU prompted a job description rewrite as BYU jumped into social media. Prior to joining BYU, Joe lived in an overpriced apartment in Silicon Valley and worked in the Government & Academic Division of the market research firm Knowledge Networks (now GfK).
