On the social media scene since online communities and newsgroups were the only way to engage,  I’m a bit of an early-adopter and partial-nerd. Working in the industry for more than 10 years, I’ve seen a lot of platforms and social tools come and go – it’s endlessly and unpredictably fascinating.

Joining Razorfish in 2011 I’ve built social and content strategies for numerous brands, including: Miller-Coors brands, Tourism of New Zealand, Holland America Cruiselines, many Microsoft brands, Tempur-Pedic, Sony, Adobe, Intel, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, JMS Smuckers, Freddie Mac, and Church & Dwight brands. I also oversee all of our social tech partnerships for North America and get to be nerdy with social tech every day.

One of my proudest moments is launching the online community for Relay For Life in 2005 for the American Cancer Society.  This online community for cancer survivors and supporters of Relay For Life has grown into a tremendously successful fundraising and community site for Relay. While working on Relay I was thrown into many speaking engagements – presenting the Relay site to more than 500 volunteers at the National Relay Summit, then presenting the platform at SXSW in 2007. Since then, I’ve worked closely with many student groups including graduates from Gonzaga University and at University of Washington’s American Marketing Association.

When not capturing a moment on Instagram, I enjoy low-tech pursuits such as knitting, skiing, cooking, board games, spending time with partner and his daughter and our dog, Olive.
