Jason Burns is an award-winning content creator, marketing strategist, and a prominent advocate for workforce development, including the rebuilding of the skilled trades. He is the lead marketing strategist and content developer for Generation T, a digital initiative powered by Lowe’s Home Improvement with the mission to help rebuild and revitalize the skilled trades. In the fall of 2018, he led the program's digital marketing efforts creating a distinctive voice aimed at changing people’s perceptions of blue-collar work. Recently his team was recognized with a 2018 Silver Award at the American Advertising Awards for Best Social Media Campaign.Jason has spent the past 15 years leading digital marketing efforts for some of the world’s most recognized brands, including IBM, NASCAR, and the Walt Disney Company. Before becoming a marketing professional, Jason spent 15 years as a broadcast journalist working producing newscasts for CBS Network News, Fox Sports News, and various outlets in the Los Angeles market.
