Bonnie Buol Ruszczyk is president and founder of bbr marketing, a firm that specializes in marketing strategy, plans and tactical implementation for professional services firms. With more than 20 years of marketing experience, relishes the challenges of entrepreneurship. Since the firm’s inception in 2009, Bonnie has led the young company to become widely recognized and respected within the professional services marketing niche, with award-winning client work and an outstanding history of business success.

Bonnie was recognized in 2012 and 2013 as one of Accounting Today’s Top 100 Most Influential People and her first book, Take Your Marketing Online! was published earlier this year to rave reviews.  She is a founding member of the Atlanta Independent Women’s Network and is the Atlanta chapter president of the Association for Accounting Marketing.

Before founding her own firm Bonnie wore many hats. Her roles included public relations director for a health and fitness startup in Silicon Valley, which allowed her to see the dotcom boom and bust firsthand; international marketing manager for Turner Broadcasting, where she helped launch TNT and Cartoon Network in Asia; and creative managerial roles with software and financial services firms, which laid the foundation for her passion and expertise for professional services marketing.

When not busy running the business, Bonnie enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, reading, writing, renovating her attic, cooking and hanging out with friends (she throws a mean party). A patient herself, she’s passionate about The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation and trained for and completed the Miami ING half-marathon in 2008, raising over $5000 for the group in the process.
