Dan Moriarty

Dan Moriarty was selected as Director of Digital Strategy in Activation in 2012. In this role, he leads Hyatt’s global social efforts — both across the company’s more than 97,000 colleagues and in bringing its portfolio of brands to life through social platforms and experiences. Since then,Dan has been at the forefront of Hyatt's increased focus on the social space, including increasing the size of its team, evolving its award-winning social care platform, and continuing to support Hyatt’s efforts to differentiate its brands.

Dan joined Hyatt in 2011 supporting international hotels with digital marketing. He started his career in digital marketing in London, and before joining Hyatt, Dan held various roles at agencies in London and Chicago.

Dan takes continual inspiration from his 5-year-old son, always following his curiosities and advocating for simple design.
