Larry Schweber

Divisional Vice President of Marketing Communications


Larry Schweber currently serves as the Divisional Vice President of Marketing Communications for Comcast’s Central Division. In his role, Larry oversees all linear, digital, mobile and social media advertising. He is responsible for overall creative design and production, brand and image awareness, programmatic and cross channel promotions, direct marketing, media buying and placement as well as direct mail for 4 regions representing more than 8 million subscribers, almost 21 million homes, 48 DMAs and more than 70 MSAs.

Prior to his current position, Larry was Vice President of Marketing for the Comcast’s Atlanta Region where he provided strategic guidance and direction for marketing initiatives that helped Atlanta achieve customer growth goals across all product lines.

Larry has been with Comcast for approximately 15 years. He began his career with the company in Florida as a marketing manager and later served as Senior Director of Marketing for Comcast’s West, Southwest and Central Florida systems. In 2003 he was promoted to Vice President and General Manager for Comcast’s Southwest Florida region, where he was directly responsible for the markets cable operation’s profitability, customer satisfaction and growth objectives.

Schweber earned a bachelor’s of arts in Communications from the University of Southern Maine and his master’s in Public Relations from Boston University. He resides in Atlanta with his wife of 14 years and his 10 year old daughter.
