Michi Gupta is responsible for the social media strategy in University Communications and manages all the central social media accounts as part of UChicago’s overall efforts to build engagement locally, nationally, and internationally. She provides guidance on digital media to communicators across campus and leads the cross-campus #UChicagoSocial group. Michi was previously associate director for digital communications at Northeastern University in Boston for five years. She received her MA from Emerson College, and her BA from Hiram College. When not thinking about hashtags, Michi likes to travel, exploring new cities and world cultures.
