For 8+ years, Brittany Cabriales has helped build GoFundMe social channels from the ground up. Her ideas and strategies have helped turn the "little website that's kinda like Kickstarter" into a household name. As a huge proponent of organic social, Brittany's current work focuses on blending social trends with cultural insights to create meaningful brand moments and marketing campaigns.
Since 2014, Brittany has worked with NowThis, Netflix, Upworthy, 60 Sec Docs, and more to produce memorable content with impactful calls to action. In 2021, she was part of the team that helped lead the viral #StopAsianHate fundraising campaign. During this initiative, she helped develop amplification strategies and design the creative that was reshared by celebrities like Sandra Oh, Gemma Chan, Dan Levy, Olivia Munn, and countless others. This campaign would end up receiving a Shorty Award for its monumental impact and social engagement.
On top of fundraising campaigns, Brittany's social-first strategies have resulted in organic videos and individual posts going viral. Her content has been featured in the New York Times, NPR, Newsweek, Mashable, Elite Daily, Marketing Brew, and others.
Brittany believes the best content is relevant, timely, and speaks to a cultural or human truth—and by using that equation, every brand has the opportunity to create engaging content that increases reach, awareness, and connection.
