Carley Cori (Weinstein) is an award-winning communicator and social media leader. She is the Director, Social Media and Creative Services at Stony Brook Medicine, one of the leading academic medical centers in the country, where she oversees social media, video production and graphic design. Carley specializes in strategic social media management, most notably in healthcare and higher education. She has experience leading teams, developing strategies, drafting policies, creating content and reporting on performance. What interests Carley most in her role as a marketer and communicator is storytelling – bringing an institution to life and giving people a greater sense of connectedness. Carley has a BS in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, as well as an MSEd in Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies from Hofstra University. Carley also sits on Stony Brook Medicine’s LGBTQ* Committee, which works to address the needs of the LGBTQ* community, including patients, faculty, staff and trainees.
