Jennifer Beam is the Social Media Director for AARP’s national advocacy social media program, which includes AARP Advocates and Aliados Adelante, and covers a broad range of federal and multi-state campaigns across the country. She has spent more than 15 years translating wonk into compelling content to engage and empower Americans 50+, and has learned to love numbers almost as much as crafting a killer tweet. When not social listening (scrolling obsessively), she can be found getting walked by her dog, reading historical fiction, or playing Words With Friends.

Being nimble and responsive has become more important over the years as topics of conversations on social media have skyrocketed.
