Ty Wood

Ty Wood has over 20 years of non-sworn law enforcement and 9 years of social media experience. He began with the Clovis Police Department in 1999 and has worked Patrol, Youth Services, Investigations,  Jail, Animal Services, and Dispatch.

In 2012, he started the Department’s social media platforms and in 2017 was assigned to social media and media full-time. He currently oversees all Department platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Nextdoor, and Neighbors), updates both City websites, and handles media inquiries.
