Lauren Thomas develops social media strategies for billion dollar brands.

A digital marketing strategist with 10+ years of experience, Lauren has worked with Fortune 500 companies including: Intuit, AT&T, The Coca-Cola Company and Macy's. She currently leads social media for Intuit TurboTax.

Lauren uses a strategic, innovative, and highly collaborative approach to deliver breakthrough creative content and campaigns. She taps into pop culture trends and leverages both established and emerging platforms to engage consumers in fresh ways.

At Intuit TurboTax, Lauren played a key role in launching the brand’s first-ever sponsored hashtag challenge on TikTok, which generated over 3 billion views and outperformed platform benchmarks. In addition, she served as a key contributor to a cross-channel Super Bowl campaign that earned both the Audience Honor and Silver Distinction in the 13th annual Shorty Awards, which recognize the best in social media and digital.

During her time at AT&T, she managed social media for Cricket Wireless and spearheaded a 24-hour live stream that earned a Guinness World Record. She also helped the brand to completely reimagine its approach to leveraging social media to amplify sponsorships with properties and celebrity talent including WWE, Live Nation, BET Awards, Kelly Clarkson and Jalen Rose. 

She has been recognized by The Social Shake-Up as a "Social Media Mover & Shaker," an award given to a select group of social media specialists who have demonstrated industry thought leadership in the use of social media for their brand or client.

As a speaker, Lauren shares social media tips and trends with a dash of pop culture and a side of straight talk to inspire audiences to create innovative campaigns that build the bottom line.

In 2021 TikTok passed the 1 billion monthly active users milestone, making it one of the most-used and fastest-growing social media platforms ever — and an increasingly important channel for brands to incorporate into their social strategies.
